our West Virginia Campgrounds, our outdoor actvities, and our sense of
adventure. A lot of folks have an image in their heads of West Virginia that doesn't really do justice to the region, and we're here
to help give you a better understanding of what we're like, and what we offer people.
West Virginia Outdoors
West Virginia has a lot of outdoor attractions and activities. Living out here in the country, a lot of folks don't have the burdens of a city life to stand in their way of enjoying nature. Families here make traditions out of going to Campgrounds, going Hiking, and enjoying West Virginia's Whitewater We also offer a lot of hunting and Fishing getaways as well! Some of my favorite things to see are the area's lush waterfalls, and especially the Waterfalls of the Mountain Lakes Region. You can also bike through the Observatory and Railroad Classic, in the Monongahela National Forest.As you can see, there's a lot to enjoy in West Virginia!
West Virgina Culture
You might be surprised to discover the culture here in West Virginia. Maybe it's natural that a lot of people don't know much about us here given that we are in the middle of the woods and the mountains, and it's true that a lot of us here in West Virginia like it that way. We deeply enjoy our rights to be individuals, and that goes for you too. I know a lot of folks probably think of a bad old movie from the 70s when they think of the South, but would you have imagined that a place such as West Virginia is the home of the Krishna Palace of Gold? It is also home of West Virginia Art and Craft Guild. In terms of music, West Virginia has a symphony orchestra, and is home to Capitol Music Hall, which has been a part of WV History longer than any other such establishment. Also an interesting stop on the way is The Mystery Hole, where such unbelievable tricks and mysteries take place that you'll wonder just whether you're on earth, or in another world alltogether!
